DDR5 Stress Accessory

The DDR5 Stress Accessory adds features to the Pattern Generator to enable a complete solution for DDR5 testing. The Stress Accessory connects to the Pattern Generator's input and output clock connectors on the front panel, and provides user output signals for a stressed clock, a differential reference clock, and a single-ended programmable sine wave output. Additionally, a low-speed I2C bus and open collector outputs (with internal pull-up) provide for controlling DDR5 test system RESET and Chip Select signals as well as the I2C bus for remote control of the Device Under Test.

Features inside the Stress Accessory include:

       - Programmable amplitude/offset/delay and inversion differential REFCLK

       - Programmable stress clock (with added RJ and SJ)

       - Programmable amplitude/frequency AC-coupled sine wave

       - I2C communications bus

       - Eight general purpose programmable outputs (used to control the RESET and CHIP SELECT functions

Once the accessory's ProbePower connection is made, the accessory powers up and is recognized by the Pattern Generator. The Pattern Generator adds support for the accessory functions to its user interface on the bottom status bar from the Accessory icon. All calibrations for the accessory are automatically imported from the accessory to provide accurate amplitudes, offsets, jitters, etc., at the connectors of the Accessory.
