DDR5 Tools Configuration
Provides access to a few tools that are very useful for working with DDR5 devices:
1. Automatic DQS Offset determination
2. Autoamtic DQ Offset determination
3. Automatic DQ Eye Center Delay determination
4. Automatic DQ Eye Center Threshold determination
DQS Offset |
mV |
DQS Offset setting. Corresponds to pattern generator's Ch-0 +/- differential offset. |
Auto DQS Button |
Sweeps range of DQS offset settings and determines range of settings that permit DQ synchronization with expected data pattern (requires Loopback first). Range is displayed in Log and center of range is chosen as the DQS offset. |
DQ Offset |
mV |
DQ Offset setting. Corresponds to pattern generator's Ch-1 + offset. |
Auto DQ Button |
Sweeps range of DQ offset settings and determines range of settings that permit DQ synchronization with expected data pattern (requires Loopback first). Range is displayed in Log and center of range is chosen as the DQ offset. |
Center Delay |
ps |
Delay required from DQS signal to eye center of DQ signal. |
Auto Delay Button |
Sweeps range of delay values and determines eye opening (requires Loopback first). Log is used to display results and center of eye opening is chosen as the Center Delay value. |
Center Threshold |
mV |
Threshold required to match eye center of DQ signal. |
Auto Threshold Button |
Sweeps range of threshold values and determines eye opening (requires Loopback first). Log is used to display results and center of eye opening is chosen as the Center Threshold value. |
Running Tools
Each tool executes sweeps of settings to determine final results. These commands can take time to complete. During this time, progress messages and ending status are provided on the Command Log tab. The final results of each tool are provided in the numeric fields on this tab.
